thank-you dog

Good morning everyone. I thought it important to take a moment to thank you all for the overwhelming support that you’ve shown to us since bringing this product idea and company to the public.

The Indiegogo campaign did not reach the financial goals we had set. It did however bring fantastic contacts and exposure for the product. I have received emails from companies now in Britain, Canada, U.S., China and New Zealand asking for my distributors’ information so they can carry our products in their stores. I have also received calls from various television and radio shows including Lifetime TV’s Morning Show, wishing to present the product to their audiences once we are in production.

I have been contacted by various dog rescues and adoption centers. Apparently when one wants to adopt a dog they must fill out a questionnaire, which is normal. However, on the form they ask if the would-be pet parents have a fenced yard. If the people do not… they do not get to adopt the dog! How very sad for both the dog and the people. The dog stays in the shelter where often times it is killed. Soon there will be a solution which will help save the lives of tens of thousands of dogs across the country.

I could not have gotten to this point without each and every one of you, but we are not out of the woods yet. I am diligently exploring every option I can think of to raise the necessary capital to make the molds and order our initial production run. The minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 2500. What keeps me going is knowing that the Dog Ring is going to enrich the lives of dog owners who want to spend more time with their dogs. I also think of the countless thousands of dogs who will be in a far safer environment when their owners use this simple system.

As I look through the seemingly endless amount of products currently on the market, there seems that only a few that are truly designed with the safety and quality that people and dogs deserve. It is unfortunate that so many of the products out there are actually designed to fail in a short amount of time. This way the stores force people to buy more product from them. There is even a term for it, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), and believe me they plan for it.

It’s exciting to know that soon there will be a product line that is actually made to last. With our products, dog owners will not only get a company who is passionate about the safety of our dogs, but also about giving people what they deserve.

I will keep you all posted on our progress. I hope you all have a great weekend and an amazing holiday season. I will get on here and post blogs for everyone on a more regular basis too. Again, thank you all. Until next time.

Take Your Dog With You,

David Wilder
